How many of you have a love/hate relationship with name plates? I know I did. I loved how they had a hundreds chart, number line, etc. However, I hated how much my students played with them and how crappy they looked after a while (even when I would reward students for those who didn't play with the tape).
I just found this cool idea on Pinterest, instead of using name plates.
Here's the teacher who came up with the idea.
Apparently, you just use these Sharpie Paint Pens.
To erase: rub well with an Expo marker, wipe clean with a Kleenex, and viola! It is gone!

**Edited**
You can also use a plain black Sharpie. You don't see the name as brightly as these paint pens, but you totally still see the name. It still erases the same way: scribble an EXPO marker over the writing, wipe off with a dry erase eraser, and clean off with a Clorox wipe. You can also use hand sanitizer to take it off. I saw this in my friend's classroom. She works in a behavior unit.
What do you think?
